Utah based rPlus Energies has secured over $1 billion in construction debt financing for its landmark Green River Energy Center project in Utah, comprising 400 MW of PV capacity and 400 MW/1,600 MWh of battery storage. This project marks rPlus Energies’ debut as an independent power producer and will become one of Utah’s largest solar-plus-storage facilities, supported by a PPA with PacifiCorp. The project is expected to create 500 construction jobs, with a focus on local hiring, and generate substantial long-term benefits for Emery County. Sundt Renewables will oversee engineering, procurement, and construction services. Five financial institutions, including Crédit Agricole and Wells Fargo, acted as coordinating lead arrangers, with MUFG serving as Administrative Agent. Legal advisory roles were fulfilled by Norton Rose Fulbright and Winston & Strawn.
