RMC Switchgears secures major solar order

India based RMC Switchgears Limited has secured its second major order in the Solar EPC business, valued at INR 86.48 crores (including GST), shortly after its first. This project involves supplying and installing solar equipment, a 220 KV substation, and 5 km of transmission line material for a 25 MWac ground mount solar plant with a single-axis tracker in Bhuj, Gujarat. This milestone highlights RMC’s rapid growth in renewable energy, affirming its strategic focus on sustainable development. The company’s expansion supports India’s ambition to achieve 450 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030, contributing to reduced carbon emissions and fostering economic development through green job creation.
