Solex Energy Limited, a Surat-headquartered solar module manufacturer listed on NSE, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Germany-based research institute, ISC Konstanz sto strengthen R&D collaboration in solar cell manufacturing. According to Solex Energy, ISC Konstanz will provide technical support for the company’s upcoming TOPCon cell line and help integrate next-generation Rear Contact and c-Si tandem/perovskite solar technologies. The partnership also includes establishing an in-house R&D line at Solex, leveraging ISC Konstanz’s patent portfolio to enhance manufacturing efficiency. During the announcement in New Delhi, Solex unveiled India’s first Rear Contact solar module, the TAPI Rear Contact, offering up to 24.6 % efficiency and 665 W power output, with commercial production scheduled by FY 2027.
