At REI 2025, France-based Ciel & Terre digitally displayed its floating power station barge and Hydrelio AIR Optim system for floating solar applications. While speaking with the Ciel & Terre representative, it was mentioned that the RINA class-approved barge, made of fiberglass polymer and marine-grade steel, was designed for quick assembly, easy transport, and minimal maintenance. It could support transformers up to 12.5 MVA and included safety features for night operations along with reliable anchoring and mooring systems. The Hydrelio AIR Optim system offered corrosion resistance, UV stability, and compatibility with various PV modules. The team also emphasized their turnkey approach, covering engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance for floating solar projects.
