Redeux Energy Partners, a Colorado-based company, has sold a hybrid solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) project to Scout Clean Energy, another renewable energy developer from Colorado. The project features a 200 MW (DC) solar array and a four-hour battery storage system with 40 MW. The project is progressing through the MISO 2021 DPP interconnection cluster, with plans to connect to a nearby Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) transmission switchyard adjacent to a 400 MW coal plant. According to Redeux, this marks the second sale in an 11-project portfolio introduced since 2023. Marathon Capital provided advisory services for the sale. Redeux’s pipeline currently totals 7 GW of solar and storage capacity across multiple US energy markets.
