Recurrent Energy and SPIC inaugurate 446 MWp solar complex in Brazil

Recurrent Energy and SPIC have inaugurated the Marangatu Solar Complex in Brazil. With a capacity of 446 MWp / 360 MWac, SPIC owns 70% of the project, while Recurrent Energy owns the rest. The project  will power approx.. 550,000 homes annually and created around 1,500 direct and 500 indirect jobs. This complex marks Recurrent Energy’s major expansion in Latin America, with a development pipeline exceeding 4 GW. Canadian Solar, established in 2001, has delivered over 125 GW of solar modules and developed over 10 GWp of solar and 3.3 GWh of battery storage projects globally. SPIC Brasil operates assets totaling around 4 GW, supporting Brazil’s renewable energy goals.
