Recurrent Energy secures USD 160M for Louisiana solar project 

Recurrent Energy has secured USD 160 million for a 127 MW PV project in Louisiana. The company has also signed a power purchase agreement with Microsoft for the entirety of Bayou Galion Solar project. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group was the lead arranger for this project financing. The project was conceptualized in 2018, with construction starting in December 2023. It is expected to become operational by fall 2024.
