Qualitas Energy has signed a 15-year virtual power purchase agreement (vPPA) with Salesforce for 27 MWp of PV capacity in Italy. This project will power 13,500 homes annually and reduce CO2 emissions by 15,700 tons. Qualitas secured €55 million in green financing, covering the vPPA assets and expanding its portfolio to 12 solar PV projects totaling 53 MWp in Italy. The financing, facilitated by Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, emphasizes sustainability. Qualitas’ Italian portfolio now includes 26 MWp connected to the grid, 34 MWp under construction, and a 1.4 GW project pipeline. The firm continues to pursue long-term energy contracts globally, focusing on risk management and sustainable asset development since its founding in 2006.
