PureSky Energy has launched its eighteenth community solar farm project, ASA Gouverneur NY Solar II, in Gouverneur, NY. This 5,225 kW DC project, featuring 13,572 high-efficiency solar panels, will generate 6,364,050 kWh annually, powering approximately 878 homes. The company claims the project will reduce CO2 emissions by 9,943,047 lbs., equivalent to removing 1,003 cars from the road. It marks a significant milestone in PureSky’s partnership with Albany Med Health System, providing long-term cost savings to Columbia Memorial and Glens Falls Hospitals. PureSky highlights the economic and environmental benefits, creating local jobs, generating tax revenue, and offering an estimated 30-year customer savings of $2,292,249. The company continues to focus on the Upstate New York market with additional capacity for future projects.
