PureSky Energy (US) has announced the acquisition of a community solar energy portfolio in Corinth, New York. This portfolio includes two sites: BWBP Heath Brook Solar, LLC and BWBP Sand Brook Solar, LLC, totaling 12.92 MWdc. Previously owned by BWBP, LLC—a joint venture between BlueWave Solar (US) and Boulder Point Solar (US)—this acquisition represents PureSky’s third transaction with BlueWave and its first with Boulder Point. The projects, set to commence in March 2024 and expected to be operational by February 2025, will be managed by PureSky’s subsidiary, Empyrean, as the EPC contractor. The solar sites are anticipated to create jobs, generate tax revenue, and offer local residents and businesses the opportunity to subscribe directly, potentially saving nearly $8 million in lifetime bill credits.
