China-based Sungrow launched its 1+X 2.0 Modular Inverter during the Global Renewable Energy Summit 2025, offering scalable utility-scale solar solutions from 800 kW to 9.6 MW. Each inverter unit supports field-swappable modules with reduced O&M time to one hour. AI-powered diagnostics enable real-time fault detection, reducing downtime and manual intervention. Designed for harsh environments, the inverter operates without derating at up to 52°C, features IP66 protection, and includes a self-cleaning air duct system. To address DC-side fire risks, it integrates dual arc protection that disconnects circuits within 40 ms and thermal sensors that isolate overheated terminals. The modular design allows flexible deployment while enhancing safety, reliability, and performance.
