Sungrow, a China-based solar inverter and energy solutions provider, has upgraded its iSolarCloud platform to manage dynamic electricity tariffs across Europe. According to Sungrow, the platform uses AI to forecast solar generation and household demand 24 hours ahead to optimize storage use. Integrated with Nord Pool and other exchanges, it enables real-time response to hourly tariff fluctuations. Sungrow said that energy storage systems are charged during low-tariff periods and discharged at peak prices to lower costs. The feature also supports automated energy trading and improved forecasting through deep learning analysis of user behavior. As per Sungrow, the platform manages PV systems, energy storage, and EV chargers under various configurations. When paired with Sungrow’s inverters and EMS, the system offers integrated control and improved operational efficiency.
