Skycorp Solar Group Limited, a US-listed manufacturer of photovoltaic cables and connectors, has showcased its latest interconnection technologies at SNEC 2025 via subsidiary PNTECH. According to Skycorp, over RMB 100 million has been invested in R&D over 14 years, resulting in 47 patented technologies. These include XLPE-modified insulation and 99.97% pure tin-plated oxygen-free copper conductors designed for extreme operating conditions. Skycorp said its MC4 connectors offer dual-seal IP68 protection with 20% lower contact resistance, while energy storage connectors meet UL94 V-0 flame-retardant standards. The company’s products are used in global projects including a 120MW system in Australia and a 48MW agrivoltaic plant in Poland. Skycorp operates a 16,000 sq mts smart factory with 9.3GW annual capacity and has shipped over 100 million meters of cable.
