Lenovo unveils Yoga Solar PC Concept at MWC 2025

China -headquartered Lenovo has introduced the Yoga Solar PC Concept, a solar-powered laptop for indoor and outdoor use at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. It had a high-efficiency solar panel with a 24%+ conversion rate, using Back Contact Cell technology to improve absorption. A Dynamic Solar Tracking system adjusted power settings for efficiency, ensuring stable performance even in low-light conditions. The panel could generate enough energy in 20 minutes of sunlight to power one hour of video playback. The device measured 15mm thin and weighed 1.22kg, making it the first ultraslim solar-powered PC. It aims to integrate renewable energy with computing.
