China-headquartered Huasun, a global manufacturer of HJT solar technology, has signed an agreement with Hongyang Group to provide over 3 GW of HJT photovoltaic modules for energy projects in Ili and Altay, Xinjiang. Huasun planned to deliver G12-132 high-efficiency HJT modules by the end of 2026. Part of the project used vertical installation to enhance power generation efficiency and reduce grid impact. This agreement marked Hongyang Group’s first use of HJT technology and became Huasun’s largest single supply contract. Huasun had an annual production capacity of 20 GW and shipped over 10 GW of products globally. Its HJT modules were known for high efficiency, low-light performance, and reliability.
