China’s Huasun, specializing in ultra-efficient N-type HJT solar technology, secured two major bids with PowerChina for 2024, including a 500 MW procurement of n-type HJT modules and a 339.68 MW offshore PV pilot project in Bohai Bay, East China. The Qinhuangdao project, 7.3 kilometers offshore in waters 6-12 meters deep, spans 279 hectares and employs Huasun’s V-Ocean HJT modules, certified for marine environments to resist salt mist, water vapor, and UV exposure.
