SECI, the Solar Energy Corporation of India based in New Delhi and operating under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, has issued Amendment-01 for a 1 MW rooftop solar project at Rashtrapati Bhavan under RTSPV Tranche III. The amendment dated October 9, 2025, introduces financial and technical changes to accelerate project execution and streamline procedures. A tariff ceiling of ₹5.00 per kWh has been implemented by SECI, with bids surpassing it deemed ineligible. The PPA signing window has been reduced to 15 days, from the earlier 60-day duration. The updated framework broadens eligibility to Limited Liability Partnerships and introduces design measures preventing monkey interference, enhancing project discipline.
