Rajasthan has crossed one lakh rooftop solar installations under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, reaching the total capacity to 408 MW. The state is adding over 10,000 new rooftop systems each month. Jaipur, Ajmer, and Jodhpur discoms account for 33,922, 32,957, and 33,378 installations respectively. Subsidies have been transferred to 86,307 consumers who completed installations. Jaipur discom released payments to 29,585 users, Jodhpur to 28,490, and Ajmer to 28,232. The figures indicate steady progress in household solar adoption across Rajasthan’s power distribution regions, marking wider participation in decentralized energy generation through the ongoing government scheme.
