India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has issued ALMM List-II certifying nine solar PV cell manufacturers for regulated program procurement. FS India Solar Ventures has been certified with the highest annual capacity of 3,212 MW under the approved list. Mundra Solar Energy was listed with 1,939 MW, while ReNew Photovoltaics has secured approval for 1,893 MW of annual cell production. ReNew, Emmvee, Mundra Solar PV, and Premier Energies International are producing N-type TOPCon bifacial cells with 15 - 16 MBB and up to 25.5% efficiency. FS India, Mundra Solar Energy, and Jupiter International are offering P-type bifacial mono PERC cells with 10 MBB and around 22 - 23% efficiency. All certified cells are PID-free, support bifacial architecture, and use standard sizes around 182 mm × 182 mm. Certifications are valid from July 2025 to July 2029, except FS India’s, which is valid until April 2028.
