The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), headquartered in New Delhi and responsible for India’s renewable energy policy framework, has released an updated Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) for solar PV modules on 19 September 2025. The update has added new module enlistments for Avaada Energy, Ksolare Energy, FS Green Energies, Loom Solar, Cosmic PV Power, and Rajratan Ventures under a co-branding agreement with Knack Energy, covering bifacial TOPCon and mono PERC modules with capacities ranging from 320 Wp to 630 Wp and efficiencies between 19% and 23.5%. Vikram Solar, a Kolkata-based solar module producer, has had its previously truncated HYPERSOL VSPMDH series fully recorded, while Tata Power Renewable Energy, based in Mumbai, has corrected a previously listed model designation. Sahaj Solar, Onix-Tech, and Rayzon Solar were recorded with official name and address changes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Bureau of Indian Standards certification requirements for enlisted solar PV models.
