Indonesia’s NSSE solar-storage project inaugurated by Sembcorp and PLN

PT Sembcorp Renewables Indonesia along with PT PLN Nusantara Renewables, a 99%-owned subsidiary of PT PLN Nusantara Power, have inaugurated the Nusantara Sembcorp Solar Energi (NSSE) Power Plant. Spanning approximately 87 hectares, this renewable project is Indonesia’s first utility-scale integrated solar and energy storage project. The plant has a 50 MW solar farm coupled with a 14.2 MWh BESS. This project marks Sembcorp’s maiden large-scale solar development in Indonesia. An inauguration ceremony was recently held, attended by Indonesia’s President, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, and other notable figures.
