Pivot Energy and the University of Colorado Boulder have announced a partnership to develop an off-site solar energy project in Colorado. This initiative aims to increase renewable energy access and support the university’s sustainability goals. Located off-campus, the project will provide clean energy to the grid, benefiting local communities. All Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) from the project will be transferred to CU Boulder, aiding their goals to cut Scope 2 GHG emissions by 50% by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. The project, overseen by Pivot Energy, is expected to be operational by late 2025.
