Sweden-based renewable energy company OX2 has sold a 119MWac solar farm located in Victoria, Australia, to an undisclosed buyer. OX2 will manage the construction of the solar farm, with completion targeted for 2027. After the project is commissioned, OX2 will also be responsible for managing the site’s technical and commercial operations under a five-year agreement. The solar farm is expected to generate 242 GWh annually, sufficient to power approximately 51,000 Australian homes. Following this sale, OX2’s project portfolio in Australia includes around 1 GW of solar energy developments and 230 MW of energy storage projects.
