Ørsted and Bloomberg ink 80 MW PPA for Texas’ PV project

Ørsted and Bloomberg sign an 80 MW PPA for the Mockingbird Solar Center in Texas, Ørsted’s largest U.S. solar project. Noteworthy for integrating conservation, the project protects nearly 1,000 acres of rare tallgrass prairie through a unique partnership with The Nature Conservancy. The Mockingbird project is now fully contracted at 471 MW capacity. Bloomberg joins Covestro and Royal DSM as corporate customers. Bloomberg’s 2022 achievements include sourcing 192,533 MWh from 11 projects, equivalent to 54.6% of its global purchased electricity.
