Oriana Power to invest INR10,000 crore in solar, hydrogen projects

India’s Oriana Power plans to invest INR10,000 crore ($118.9 million) crore over the next three to four years to expand operations in solar, green hydrogen, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The company aims to achieve 1 GW of EPC capacity and 400 MW of IPP capacity by 2026. With an order book valued at INR2,500 crore ($29.7 million), the company expects to execute these projects by November 2025.The company is planning to establish a gigawatt-scale facility for manufacturing electrolysers and modules for green hydrogen and e-fuels. Currently, it operates 40 MW in the IPP segment, has completed over 240 MW of EPC projects, and has 390 MW of projects under construction.
