Gujarat-based Onix Renewable has invited EoIs for 1,959 MW ground-mounted, fixed-tilt solar projects across 252 locations in Maharashtra. Onix will supply solar modules and inverters. The bid submission deadline is January 17, 2025, with an earnest money deposit of ₹50,000/MW (~$582). Selected bidders will design, build, and commission the projects under an EPC model. They will also provide operation and maintenance services for three years. Bidders must ensure a 19% capacity utilization factor over 25 years. They must handle 11kV grid interconnection and build transmission lines and substations. Eligibility requires prior EPC experience with ground-mounted solar projects. Financial qualifications include a ₹250 million (~$2.91 million) annual turnover for up to 50 MW projects, increasing for larger bids. Bidders must also have a positive net worth over the past three years.
