One Energy partnership pushes Whirlpool’s renewable footprint

Whirlpool Corp. collaborates with One Energy for onsite wind and solar power in Ohio. Ground solar arrays in Findlay and Clyde create 40.8 MW of renewable energy, propelling Whirlpool into the top 25% of EPA’s Green Power Partnership list. Nine existing turbines already supply 22% of electrical needs, with expansion including additional turbines at Findlay and Clyde, marking Clyde’s first onsite renewables.
