India’s NTPC Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, has begun commercial operations of the first 55 MW unit of its 105 MW Shajapur solar project in Madhya Pradesh. The project’s operationalization increases NTPC Group’s total installed and commercial capacity to 76,530.68 MW. The solar project is part of NTPC’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio.
