NextEnergy Capital expands PV portfolio in Iberia

NextEnergy Capital, an investment firm focused on solar infrastructure, has commissioned two utility-scale PV assets using NextPower III ESG funding, totaling 260 MW in Spain and Portugal, expanding its Iberian exposure to 356 MW operational and 110 MW under construction. The assets, Santarém (210 MW) and Agenor (50 MW), will generate 445 GWh annually, expected to power approximately 126,700 homes. The 260 MW portfolio has secured a long-term PPA with Statkraft, marking Santarém’s PPA as Portugal’s largest to date.
