MSpectrum Inc., the Philippines based solar subsidiary of Manila Electric Company (Meralco), has launched a 726 kWp solar rooftop facility for Citizen Finedevice Philippines Corp. in Batangas province. The project, inaugurated at Citizen Finedevice’s Sto. Tomas manufacturing facility, is expected to generate 1.055 GWh of clean energy annually. This will reduce Citizen Finedevice’s carbon footprint by approximately 751 metric tons, equivalent to planting over 34,500 trees.
