Hungary-based MOL has signed a sales and purchase agreement with Optimum Vogt Kft, a subsidiary of Ib vogt GmbH, to acquire 100% ownership of Naperőmű Farm Kft, a company responsible for the construction of a 66 MW photovoltaic plant in Ballószög, Hungary. The construction of the plant is complete, with trial operations scheduled to commence in January 2025. This acquisition brings MOL’s renewable energy capacity closer to 200 MWp, supported by its majority ownership of Alteo Plc and other ongoing developments aimed at integrating renewables into its energy mix.
