Chile-based METLEN Energy & Metals has reached 588 MW of renewable energy production in Chile, bolstered by the completion of the Tocopilla (227 MW) and Tamarico (167 MW) solar parks. These projects are part of a $460 million portfolio, provide 100% renewable energy to Enel Chile under a PPA. The portfolio also includes the Willka (109.2 MW) and Doña Antonia (86 MW) parks. By 2025, energy storage batteries will be added to enhance operations. Together, these projects meet the energy needs of over 800,000 households and prevent 240,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually, reflecting METLEN’s seven-year commitment to Chile’s renewable energy sector.
