Maxeon highlights its extensive history with TOPCon, including Maxeon IBC and Shingled Hypercell, backed by patents dating back to the 2000s. This legal action marks Maxeon’s initial step to defend its U.S. patent rights. The portfolio comprises over 1,650 granted patents and 330 pending applications, according to the company.
