Massive solar production in UAE

Trina Solar to create a vertically integrated manufacturing facility in the UAE.
Plant will be in Khalifa Economic Zone, Abu Dhabi, as part of the Belt and Road initiative.
Fab plans to produce 50k tons silicon, 30 GW wafers, 5 GW cells/modules, in 3 phases.
Trina signs MoU with Abu Dhabi Ports and JOCIC for 3-year collaboration for the project.
This strategy is a part of Trina’s global expansion strategy beyond China and Asia
