Masdar, TAQA, EDF Renewables, and JinkoPower launch the world’s largest single-site solar plant, the 2GW Al Dhafra PV project, ahead of COP28. Located 35 km from Abu Dhabi, it powers nearly 200,000 homes, cutting 2.4 million tonnes of carbon emissions yearly. Covering 20 sq km, the project created 4,500 jobs, boasting innovative bi-facial technology with 4 million solar panels.
