Zenith Energy Ltd., independent oil & gas company, has acquired a 10MW agrivoltaic solar project in Lazio, Italy, through its wholly owned subsidiary, WESOLAR S.R.L. The €1.3 million (~$ 1.51 million) deal includes land purchase and is subject to permitting. The project is expected to reach Ready-to-Build status within 12 months. With this addition, Zenith’s solar portfolio now spans 20.5MW across four regions and project stages. It includes a 0.5MW operational asset in Liguria, a 3MW Ready-to-Build plant in Puglia, and two development-stage agrivoltaic projects—7MWp in Piedmont and 10MW in Lazio. Zenith stated this is its largest acquisition to date and meets its 2025 target. The company confirmed each asset is selected following strict due diligence and said it will pursue favourable financing options in Italy to support further growth while reducing equity dilution.
