UK-headquartered Zenith Energy Ltd., through its subsidiary WESOLAR S.R.L., has acquired three solar assets in Italy as part of its renewable strategy. It has purchased two ready-to-build 1 MW projects in Lazio for €400,000 (~$453945), with €1.3 million (~$1.47 million) planned for installation and commissioning. The company has agreed to buy 13.5 hectares in Piedmont for €900,000 (~$1.02 million) to develop a 7 MW agrivoltaic project, requiring €3.5 million (~$3.97 million) in investment, pending permits and due diligence. It has also acquired a 0.5 MW operating project in Liguria for €110,000 (~$124836), which generates €30,000 (~$34046) annually, with upgrades planned to raise revenue to €100,000 (~$113487). Zenith has targeted a 20 MW solar portfolio by end-2025. A 3.29 MW project in Sicily was previously announced but has been terminated. Recently, Zenith Energy installs 5B solar arrays for 16.9 MW PV.
