Websol to supply 100 MW Mono PERC cells to Luminous

Luminous Power signed a supply agreement with Websol Energy for 100 MW of Mono PERC solar cells with 23% to 23.4% efficiency, from April 2025 to April 2026.

Websol Energy Systems Limited, an Indian solar cell and module manufacturer, has signed a supply agreement with Luminous Power Technologies for 100 MW of Mono PERC solar cells. According to Websol, the order will be executed between April 2025 and April 2026, with cells offering 23% to 23.4% efficiency. The agreement supports Websol’s broader strategy to scale its production capacity and enhance its domestic operational infrastructure. Founded in 1994, Websol continues to expand its presence in India’s solar market by supplying quality-assured PV components. The company is also set to begin PV cell production at its expanded West Bengal facility by July 2025, adding 600 MW of capacity.
