Waaree Renewable Technologies, a Mumbai-headquartered solar engineering, procurement, and construction company, has announced that it secured aINR 1,252.43 crore (~ $150.4 million) order from Waaree Forever Energies. According to Waaree Renewable Technologies, the contract scope includes execution of an 870 MW AC/1,218 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar power project for Waaree Forever Energies, which is also a subsidiary of Waaree Energies. The company said that the project is scheduled for completion in the financial year 2026–27, with engineering, procurement, and construction works forming the core package. The scope of works has included a 33 kV/400 kV substation along with transmission line infrastructure supporting project integration into the grid. Waaree Renewable Technologies confirmed that the order also covers two years of operation and maintenance services following project commissioning.
