Victory Hill, a global investment firm and Spanish Power have secured €35 million (~$ 40.34 million) in financing from Bankinter for two photovoltaic plants in Burgos and Malaga. The plants have a combined capacity of approximately 75MW. Both projects are part of a 250MW renewable portfolio acquired by the joint venture in July 2024 across Spain, Portugal, and Sweden. DLA Piper Spain advised the joint venture on the transaction. The legal team was led by Corporate Partner Pablo Echenique and Finance Partner José Marco. They were supported by professionals from corporate, finance, and tax divisions. Bankinter was legally advised by Cuatrecasas, led by Agustín Cerdá. The transaction marked further expansion of the joint venture’s footprint in the Iberian renewable market.
