Trinasolar has announced that its Vertex N Shield module received the PV Module Comprehensive Reliability Award at TÜV Rheinland’s 11th “All Quality Matters” Solar & ESS Congress 2025 after achieving the highest overall score of 94 across tests for thermal cycling, mechanical stress, UV exposure, humidity-freeze, damp heat, and potential induced degradation. The module features 25% thicker glass, increased resistance to hail impacts, and a strengthened frame design that enhances load-bearing capacity and overall stability. Earlier in June 2025, the module was recognized by RETC as a “High Achiever” across multiple reliability categories. Based on advanced i-TOPCon technology, the Vertex N Shield is positioned as the flagship product within Trinasolar’s Shield extreme climate solution, which integrates modules and smart tracking systems designed to enhance performance and reduce operational costs in challenging environments.
