A Global Authority of Renewable Energy, BloombergNEF ranked Trinasolar highest in its May 2025 ESG assessment of seven PV module manufacturers. As per the report, the company advanced renewable electricity use in production by implementing 47 energy-saving projects across 32 sites in 2024 and utilizing 223,794 MWh of on-site renewable power. Energy consumption per unit of cells and modules fell by 39.51% and 40.19% compared with 2020. Plants in Changzhou, Suqian, and Yancheng were designated National Green Factories, while the Yiwu facility’s “Zero-Carbon Factory” certification was upgraded to four stars. Certifications included Carbon Footprint and EPD for Vertex N modules, EPD and ISO 14067 for Elementa 2, and Bureau Veritas verification for TrinaTracker Vanguard 1P. In the first half of 2025, Trinasolar also received Bloomberg Green’s “Workplace for All,” BSI’ Pioneer Award, and SSI Silver Certification.
