China-based TrinaTracker, a subsidiary of Trinasolar Co. Ltd, has announced to open a new manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The facility, Trina Tracker for Renewable Energy, was established through a land-lease agreement with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON). Operations were planned to start in Q1 2025. The plant had an annual production capacity of 3 GW. It specializes in manufacturing TrinaTracker’s Vanguard series of solar trackers and smart control systems. This became TrinaTracker’s fourth manufacturing plant after China, Spain, and Brazil. The facility operated with zero pollutant emissions. It optimized energy generation under harsh regional weather conditions. The factory improved service efficiency, delivery times, and technical support. This aligned with Saudi Vision 2030’s energy transition goals.
