TOYO Co., Ltd. has acquired the VSUN brand from its sister company Vietnam Sunergy Joint Stock Company to consolidate operations and strengthen its shareholder value. Both companies are under Abalance Corporation, and the transaction did not involve issuing new equity. The deal provides TOYO with direct access to VSUN’s established U.S. customer base, where over 8 GW of modules have been delivered since 2018. VSUN’s strong recognition through PVEL, BloombergNEF, RETC, and EcoVadis certifications enhances TOYO’s credibility with developers and financiers. By combining VSUN’s brand strength with TOYO’s large-scale N-type solar cell production in Vietnam and Ethiopia, the company expects improved operational synergies, accelerated U.S. market expansion, and enhanced revenue growth in utility-scale solar projects.
