France-based TotalEnergies, a global integrated energy company, has acquired a portfolio from Low Carbon consisting of 8 solar projects totaling 350 MW and 2 battery storage projects totaling 85 MW in southern England. The solar projects were in advanced stages and targeted for operation by 2028. They were expected to generate over 350 GWh annually, enough to supply around 100,000 UK households. The acquisition was added to TotalEnergies’ UK portfolio, which already included offshore wind, gas, and solar assets. Low Carbon delivered one of the UK’s largest ready-to-build solar and battery portfolios through this agreement.
