TMEIC Corporation Americas, a subsidiary of Japan-based TMEIC Corporation, has commenced full-scale production at its PV inverter manufacturing facility in Waller County, Texas. The 144,000-square-foot Westport facility began operations in November 2024 and manufactured over 300 utility-scale PV inverters by February 5, 2025. The facility enhances TMEIC’s US-based manufacturing capabilities while strengthening its position in the global renewable energy market. Operations began on schedule with a newly trained workforce to meet production demands and ensure high-quality output. The facility’s establishment contributes to local economic growth through job creation and investment, as per the company. According to TMEIC, Waller County’s business environment, including a recently approved tax abatement, supported the project’s development.
