TCL SunPower Global, a China-based manufacturer of solar panels and storage systems, has partnered with France-based Bellsolar to launch residential solar and storage solutions across Réunion Island. According to Bellsolar, the systems will be distributed through its Store 109 retail network to support widespread household adoption. TCL SunPower Global has supplied both solar panels and branded battery systems tailored for residential use on the island. The collaboration is in line with Réunion Island's goal of 100% renewable electricity by 2030 since the island remains under heavy dependency on imported fossil fuels. Bellsolar indicated that decentralization of electricity production and home storage are aimed at improving grid stability and energy equality. A ceremonial signing event, followed by local and global stakeholders, was organized to symbolize the initiation of the collaboration. TCL SunPower Global had signed a deal with Solar Depot earlier this year to expand solar distribution in Western Europe.
