Sunrover Power Co., Ltd., a solar equipment manufacturer headquartered in Hefei, Anhui Province, has secured a 15 MW grid-connected solar contract in Iran. The installation will supply electricity to a high-consumption factory and followed a 15-day business mission by Sunrover Power. The agreement is consistent with Iran's strategy to commission 7 GW of PV capacity by the end of 2025, backed by its Supreme Council for Economic Coordination's authorization of $1.5 billion towards the installation of solar panels. Iranian government officials have endorsed the installation, and ministerial recognition confirmed Sunrover Power’s technical capabilities. The new contract has reinforced the company’s role in Middle Eastern renewable energy markets. Established in 2014, Sunrover Power operates a 100,000 square meter facility with 500 employees, including 150 research and development specialists. Its product portfolio includes on-grid and off-grid inverters, hybrid energy storage inverters, and lithium battery systems. Earlier this year, Iran’s energy ministry supported Sunrover Power in advancing solar storage expansion.
