Standard Solar, headquartered in the US, has acquired the 3.2 MW Churchill Street Solar Farm in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, from Sunfarm Solar, expanding its asset portfolio in the state. The ground-mounted project consists of five separate arrays and is among the largest in the Northeast. Massachusetts remains a key market for Standard Solar, which operates 11 solar and solar-plus-storage projects across the state. The acquisition aligns with its strategy of purchasing high-quality operating solar assets to strengthen its presence in the region. Churchill Street Solar Farm will contribute to Massachusetts' renewable energy goals by helping offset local electricity demand and supporting climate action targets. The project is expected to provide long-term benefits to the Pittsfield community while reinforcing Standard Solarโs commitment to expanding its solar footprint.ย
