SPIC Solar wins Top Modules 2024 award at SNEC 2025

TaiyangNews has awarded SPIC Solar the Top Solar Modules 2024 Badge at SNEC 2025 for sustained top 10 global performance in module efficiency rankings.

SPIC Solar, a China-based photovoltaic module manufacturer under State Power Investment Group, was awarded the Top Solar Modules 2024 Badge of Excellence by TaiyangNews at SNEC PV+ 2025 in Shanghai. The badge was given for maintaining top 10 global performance in module efficiency for at least six months during 2024, based on monthly data. TaiyangNews said the award reflects SPIC Solar’s consistency in high-efficiency module output and manufacturing quality. SPIC Solar is among the earliest in China to commercialize interdigitated back contact (IBC) technology and currently produces TOPCon, PERC, and IBC modules. The company has built China’s first industrial-scale n-type IBC production line, which is operated through its facilities in Xining and Xi’an.
